They are the ones I bought from you

my guess would be between 350-400?

I will pull cam specs when I get home, They are the iron world racing S/R heads (76cc)

I put a cam similar to what compcams reccomended

Stock pistons with oversized rings

porting and polishing on the iron heads

dual plane aluminum intake with provisions for square and spread bore carbs.

Meant this as frame & body, probably priced it a little low though. oh well.

Are the pistons stock diameter and the rings .060 over? Or are they "stock style" .060 over pistons and rings?

Also, I'll take the harnesses.

they are stock pistons, with .060 over rings. Same as the the previous motor. I just had it honed and went with it.

I'll save them for ya

So you have over .060 gap between the piston and bore wall? Mine slapped a lot with a .005 over hone.

It never slapped before, and it was just a hone to even out the surfaces, didn't change the bore size by much.

Are you sure the pistons are stock size? Did you measure them?

If they are really .060 smaller than the bore, the piston will cock, the ring will not seal, and you will get mega blowby like before.

There was no wear on the pistons, and the O/R was on the sides of the wall. I put the pistons that came out back in. I don't remember the measuremetns but they seemed to fit quite well when I installed them. I am not worried about it for a truck motor, nor was my machinist for that matter. If you want to turn 7000 RPM, I wouldn't use this motor in it's current state. The motor was built for torque and low end power.

If they fit well, then they must not be stock pistons.

They're old, so no idea if stock/aftermarket... just that they are vintage . but nothing seemed off in installation.

They'll do better than your pushrods
