Default Help with summer wheeling trip.

Past 2 years we have went to Drummond island. This year were thinking about taking a 1 week tour to a few places. Right now we have 3 spots in mind. Attica badlands, french lick Indiana, and red bird Indiana. But are open to other ideas to. Where have others been that are around Illinois Indiana or Ohio. Thanks

The cliffs is mud mud mud with hills made of mud. The coolest part and the cleanest is driving thru the river bed . The badlands has mud and more. I have not been to the other two places

I did enjoy Rausch. I barely saw half the park, and would go back in an instant.

Windrock is no further than Harlan and closer the Rausch Creek and is awesome...easily spend 3,4, or more days exploring. You really can't go wrong with any of the 3....i have been to all 3 and enjoyed them all.

I think after some further research we may give Harlan a try. Looks like a lot to see and do. And be able to rent a cabin like we have done at Drummond island.

Rode Harlan six yrs ago on ATVs. Great riding and super friendly people.

Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads!

Wellsville, OH

Wheeling a river was hands down the coolest thing I have ever done in a rig.

That is a creek at best and while that crawl is fun, it's short and not difficult (myself and several others i wheel with have been through there dozens of times in full body single locked ifs rigs on 33's). For him i wouldn't even consider wellsville....too much uncertainty and headache. We were suppose to be going back the end of April but decided against it and are headed for Flat Nasty instead
