started bending some tube. 2" tube looks beef. roof is a bit tall but has to be to make head room for back seat because back seat sits higher to clear top links at full bump. front seats will be mounted a bit higher than I have them mocked up now. Also got another 70 rear axle, this one is out of a second dodge so it is exact same width as front axle and the axle tubes don't neck down.

I weld up the miters before tube goes over them

Looks sharp. One thing that I think is a good design is building the oil pan skid off the lower link bar. It is something I think I would do on the next one.

Yea I was thinking a engine cradle that tied into motor mounts that would tie into subframe link bar for a skid.

Gonna rake it like you wanted at the same time? Doesn't look overly tall to me, but I'm sure you have specific lines pictured in your head.

Ultra4 has been pushing the racers to have at least a fist worth of room (with a helmet on) between cage and overhead bar.

My buddy is a big dude and he has 6" head clearance with seat 4" off the floor. So if we ever did race it could always lower seats even more.

I barely noticed the inward bends on the bottom windshield bar. Looks good, what's the purpose?
