Sounds like a good plan!

Haven't really decidedwhat is gonna happen with the blazer yet, my wife is Wierd about stuff and won't let me sell it. So it will prob get partially parted out but axles and links and stuff will stay on it incase I want to put it back together someday. Im gonna leave it together so I can still wheel it during this build, i already got another set of axles for the buggy. Thanks for the compliment new buggy will be ultra 4 styling but will be a 4 seater. I'm really partial to the looks of Peter baslers blue torch rig.

Thanks, im hoping it will turn out nice. to bad I cant put one together as fast as you guys, crazy how quick you guys can turn out a buggy. part of the problem is I will be building this buggy in my free time and seems like I don't get much of that anymore. my goal is to try to put 8 hrs a week in it but we will see.

Can't wait! While it won't help your free time any, I do hope to be bringing you some work very soon! I need an excuse to go to Hot N Now anyway!

nice. I like the table. I want to build something similar. I have a piece of 1/2 plate about 7' x 14'. just need to decide what size I want to cut it down to

got some work done today. got the table squared up, ended up having to do both ends to get it right. I clamped flat bars on both ends, tapped them around till everything measured square then got out the grinders. looks like it is less than a 1/16" out now.

got the axle striped down and ready to go to the sandblaster Monday. also cut part of the center section off for better link mount welding.

machined out the centers of the h2 wheels so they will fit on the ford axles

gonna put the hubs on the dana 70 rear I have tomorrow and measure the wms to see if it will work for me

took a look at the dana 70 rear I bought a while back for cheap. it looks like a 70u im guessing because it has small pinion bearing. it measures 65.25 wms It came with the right ratio gears in a box that have a bigger pinion bearing on the pinion so im guessing they didn't come out of this axle. and no shafts so I will have to buy a Detroit and some shafts.

anyone got any reasons I shouldn't use this axle?
