Angry 95 ranger no speedometer

I have a 95 ranger xlt 2.3l 5 speed 2wd. has 300xxx miles on it. speedometer started bouncing probly a month ago. yesterday it completely stopped working.

so far I've replaced...

-vehicle speed sensor in tail housing of transmission

-vehicle speed sensor/ABS sensor in middle or rear diff.

-instrument cluster

I don't know what else to do and Im getting pissed...

(stupid truck... the gas gauge in the cluster I took out didn't work...and everything else worked (until speedo)...anyways...now gas gauge works and temp gauge doesn't work...or speedo....) oh well....please help me out...

Seeing as how you checked everything you should. I would think it could be a wiring issue to the vss. I have a cluster out of a 96 you could try if you think the cluster you got was garbage as well.

these GPS speedometers are very nice and accurate, got one in our hot rod Ford. They are accurate withing 1mph and no cable. Well worth it.

This. Take everything else back to the store and just run one of these. Probably cheaper, and you can take it out and put it in something else when the ranger pukes for good.
