The owner of the business just needs to have a little more tact explaining the situation. Besides that, I don't see an issue. I used to plow, and years ago when there was a storm like this it takes a lot of time.

This I can agree with. Though I am sure after dealing with a ton of whiny ass crackers from clarkston and their brothers he's probably struggling with the tact thing. Not to mention he's probably exhausted from pplowing snow for the last 36 hours and driving on shitty roads dealing with people driving 20 mph who shouldn't even be out on the roads.

Since Cracker wants to use my brother's business as an example I'll simply state that after plowing for hours on end the other day they decided to call it, go home and get some rest and come back out after the winds and snowfall died down.

LOL, no. Unless you find a special county that did. I happened to have just listened to an interview on WWJ with the oakland county road commissioner and he was saying they have had every single truck on the road since saturday morning. You fail once again. (oakland county was the hardest hit too) You should start selling fails on ebay, you will be rich.

Yes, they need to explain things better. It takes a lot of time, yes. But to not plow because the roads are to bad is a joke. If you are plowing and say it will be a longer time because of how bad the roads are, that is one thing and totally understandable. But to not even try is pathetic.

Genessee county took all but two drivers off the road yesterday at 6pm and stated they would not be back out until 4 or 5am this morning.

How are they not delivering what they promised? In his facebook status he stated they are still within their contract and will finish all driveways.

My wife drove her Jeep to work this morning without a problem. She's an admin assistant for a HVAC company. Everyone else made it to work just fine.

You're telling me that a secretary can drive no problem but a bunch of guys in rigs that exist solely for this weather and these road conditions can't?

Riiiiight...

It sounds more like they threw in the towel after many consecutive hours. Was your wife working for 36 hours straight before she drove 15 minutes to work today?

They told customers yesterday at noon that the roads were too bad to get out to start plowing.

I would venture to guess that something got lost in translation.

No matter what I would be absolutely furious if I paid a company for snow removal only to have them not perform this service... because of snow...

The snow isn't the the problem. It's the amount of snow that's the problem. Two years ago we had the same problem and it shut cities down.

No... it has everything to do with some landscape company owner taking in a shit ton of contracts and not having nearly as many guys as needed to do the job. All he saw were dollar signs and didn't give a single thought to it all. Now his business is going to be ruined.

no where does it state they will not remove the snow, they said HAVE SOME FUCKING PATIENCE we just had a storm that dumped more snow in 24hours than this area typically sees.

But CC's brother is probably expects his driveway to be first, so I get it, they aren't doing it fast enough for him. So in CC language that translates into they WON'T plow his brothers driveway.

I bet they're responding to emergency calls but not contracts. I knew a guy who used to slap a different sticker on the sides of his trucks when he was doing emergency calls and skipped the non-commercial contracts until he was done with emergency calls. Kind of makes sense money wise, why plow out someone who pays you $100/month vs $100/instance?

Really Dumb Kompany probably just had 50% churn.

Maybe you didn't read the part where he is STILL within the TERMS WRITTEN in his customers contracts.

Maybe read the contract you signed and then bitch when the terms are broken, not before?
