Default D44 Steering

My dad is running steering like this

He is getting a lot of slop outta the bolt I think the knuckle is getting sloppy.

I've seen in the past a tapered bolt that he could put in place but I dont know where anyone has gotten them.

Put a flat top style high steer arm on the Pass side and make that thing double shear.

He does not have flat top knuckles and it's not worth changing as he is build a new 60 and 14 bolt...

I'm just looking for the tapered bolt.

That's the reason I said Flat top style high steer. You could weld one on and plate the shit out of it.

He doesn't DD it does he?

Beefy

The problem I see is that the hole was probably drilled out for the bolt to go through the steering arm. If that is the case there won't be any taper to put that stud into. So you will have to remove and replace the knuckle to get one with a taper.

If you are going to remove the knuckle, I would just add an extra arm to the top to make it double shear. Run it till you guys get the 60 done and in.
