This is the scar comparison thread?!

I still have dents in the muscle of my lower back from where they made a five inch incision and then ripped it wide open with a spreader and proceeded to fish chunks of my lower discs out of my spinal canal.

On a more serious note, I thank my skill as a person and god that I haven't had any major injuries in life. I hope you all feel better

Thank you. With only a twinge of pain once on a while (probably stretched it too much yesterday), today I'm on my way.

Heat is a recommended therapy. When I had foot pain I got a large heating pad and wrapped it around my foot fully enclosing it and turned it on high. I would lay on the couch and bake it all night. Really helped.

well after reading this thread I saw many things that were contrary to how I got my feet and ankles healed up.
to date I have had a fractured talus , ripped planter tendon and collapsed metacarpals. plus I suffer from skew foot and hammer toes.
a couple years back I had to have a knee replaced s well.

as you can tell from my casts I had a torn planter tendon and heal fracture in my right foot and a collapsed ankle in the other.
this happened after I was already off work for two months in a walking cast on my right foot.
I told my doctor the left side was in bad shape as well and he didn't believe me. he said I was going to get a bone scan to see how the right side was doing so he may as well check the left side thinking he was going to prove me wrong. turns out it was much worse then either of us suspected and he said if I had kept going it would have gave out and most likely fractured my whole ankle.
so after a total of 3 1/2 months in casts and two months of therapy I was back to work.
oh and the pain level was ok till things started crap from the casts. OMG did it hurt. the shot the one guy talks about is true to its word. its a heck of pain to have your feet hurt like that. the pain from knee replacement ranks a close second.

I've not had children but have had cortisone shots in ankle. Not that bad for me. I don't remember a lot about some injuries, have had to look up the paper work. Again the worst thing was my Vertigo. Close second being told and thinking I had cancer. Month later told didn't have cancer.
Argue I suck at life, but I'll argue that if not for God I'd not be here.
