some sources say they bolt up while some say no. 98 case, 03 trans. anyone?

I believe you can use a 231c front half, planetaries, chain, and a 231j back half with sye and all that jazz.

Back half a are the same front half of the case and the slip yolk pieces on the back are the only differences
(Other then beefy parts in the c)
