Its the calm before the storm up here. People plowing and snowmobiling. Got my plowing done and now to go work on sleds before the storm hits.

The only commuting I'm doing is between the bathroom and a recliner. I'm just enjoying the oxycodone high and catching up on TV shows I've missed in the past two months.

I think I'll survive.

I've heard that's a perk of a reverse mortgage. Roads are still OK here but trees are starting to ice up.

My poor pine trees are hanging really low

I think it's going to be a mess in the morning. My weather station is reading 30.8, and it's raining hard.

Roads are turning to ice rinks here quickly, trees are hanging low and power lines look like horizontal ice cycles. All of our vehicles are full of gas. The generator has been fired up to make sure it will run if/when I need it and is full of gas. Extra gas on standby. New batteries in all the flashlights. Since I made sure everything is properly prepared we will not need any of it

Steady rain and 33 trying to drop to 32. It's going to be a mess here by morning.

I wanted to drive around, have fun, and maybe help some stuck people out, but oatmeal stout and GTA V got in the way.

Power just went out, blue light show in the sky 3 or 4 times , went out just before the end of the movie i rented. Went outside, light coating of ice, not enough to make lines go down though i would think.

Nothing but rain the whole ride home from Fenton.

But the truck, trailer and Jeep had a nice coating of ice on them while I was loading the Jeep.

Just got home and no ice on the roads thankfully.

I need to figure out my generator hook up, i hooked up letter to same letter from the 4 wire on the generator, to the 3 wire in my trailer, hooked it up, turned it to 220, turned off the main, started it, and nothing worked, got pissed and went to parents house, next day power back on, blew 4 bulbs, a fan, and a microwave, guess i should have left it to a pro.
