The truth ^. I honestly don't know where they pull these numbers from. All I know is that I would never pay those prices.

The problem is new prices are crazy, a new 4 door rubicon is over 40k when you add some options. 25k for a few year old jeep is a bargain compared to over 40k.

People are crazy, kbb is crazy, old trucks are not worth a big money. If a bank won't give a loan on it, good luck getting $$$

I always hear people say, the right price is what people are willing to pay, or something like that, so that said, Jeeps aren't over priced if people are paying those prices, you're just too cheap.

for what it is, you should be able to sell it, but, as stated in a thread all about selling vehicle, if you want top dollar, it needs to be in top shape, you telling people they need to clean the interior, and sending pics of it pretty dirty, well, people are lazy, they want it show room clean when paying that much money it should be pretty clean.

My CU uses NADA to set loan value, if NADA says it's worth XX then they will give a loan for that.

Wrong, retail on a well optioned 4 door Rubicon starts out at $34-$35k.. Employee and Friends/Family pricing is a lot less than that also.

Are you a Chrysler salesman ? I just made the rounds a month ago and no option Unlimiteds are near mid thirties. If you go stick shift and soft top there is a few grand savings. Hell 2007-2008 Unlimiteds are holding on to the twenties.

Yep. Going to be scrubbing the shit out of everything in the near future here. Might even swap the winch from my wife's LJ onto it. It would be clean if it wasn't for damned apartment living.

Yes, your correct. I sold a unlimited sport hard top with a posi-traction and a couple other options for like 30k out the door. (it was stick shift). Here is a window sticker of one of the Rubicons I found. With Employee your at 33k and Friends/Family at 34,484. These prices are with NO rebates(i.e military, lease loyalty, or lease conquest).

no you are wrong

Employee and friends does not work if you are not an employee or know one.

Go to the jeep website, Dual top 4 door Rubicon is 38k+ and if you go for the higher level Rubicon it is 42k.

Look at my previous post. 36k Also 90% of Michigan get at least a friends a Family discount! If you don't get it and your from this site then Ill get you a friends and family control number. Anyone can use them.

And by the way your still wrong. Rubicon's can reach 45k all day.
