You could always buy one of the motor swapped sxs's if you are worried about the stock performance. Yamaha apex sled motors are pretty popular in RZR's, and can make some HUGE hp...k&t racing just finished up one for a customer with over 600 rwhp. Obviously that's built to the extreme, but even the mild built ones can make huge power. 250 hp is common for a turbo apex motor, and they can be ragged on all day with no issues. Keep an eye on eBay, a lot of builders are listing them there. I was super tempted recently by a 2012 XP rzr with a turbo apex swap built by a&s racing here in Michigan, it ended up selling for 19k if I remember correctly.

I have owned two RZR's..they are a blast and super comfortable, but Im an adrenaline junky so I was bored with the 55hp that my rzr-s was making. After spending an afternoon on a 100+ hp turbo Raptor 700, the rzr just felt a little boring. Cruising through the whoops doing 60 mph is a lot of fun, but I still spent a lot more time on my quads. My wife LOVED the RZR's though, she was a lot more comfortable driving that than she ever was on a quad. We may end up with another eventually...the XP 1000 looks like a beast stock, but it's a lot of money for what you are getting. And with a little one on the way, our options are a little limited....I really don't want to be stuck on a huge sand limo like the XP-4.

The hopped up SxS are cool, but for my 20 f-Ing grand, I'll take a factory warranty. Besides, I'm betting the power numbers from the oe's are only going to go up.....we shall see. Maybe these will all become even more trophy-truck-tastic!
