Any word on how the driver of the bad ass green CJ7 is doing? This is the one that I believe had the throttle stick at the top of the hill and crashed into a snow maker. Was told the Jeep was in a few pieces also.

The driver is good just sore and bruised up. We already started taking it apart Monday night. We cannot figure out how throttle stuck on it. It's a push/pull design with a loop to pull it back. It still works perfectly.

He got the motor shut down, we believe before he hit the snow maker tower and snowmobile and rolled. So first thing will be to get the motor to the builder and have it checked over.

We have been discussing building a new chassis since last year to get it lower and a wider stance. We did a lot of changes to it over the winter. And were hoping to build new one over next year while running a few races with this one. Right now we will strip it down and decide this chassis fate.

What he hit..

x2 Thanks for posting. I was beginning to wonder if there was any video or pics taken by anybody. Seems like a pretty big event but not much was posted about it on here...nothing from spectators or participants. :chancy: No results either. Looked liked the hill was pretty tough this year.

The video does not do those hills justice

The rain on Friday really hurt the base and it was pretty soft on Saturday. They had to do a bunch off grooming that made for a long day, they raced till well after 9pm to finish the any tire class and had to cancel the nitrous class. It was a good show though, really cool to see so many different forms of racing represented. Mud racers, sand racers, dune buggys, rock bouncers, street guys...etc, all racing against each other.

Can't wait till next year......I will have the Bronco ready
