Couple of comments:
Whole thing is awesome.

Wipe the idea of the f'ing Bully dog crap out of your mind. Get a PHP hydra chip.

As far as elecronics you need the IdM and pcm to make her run. To keep the trans shift right you will need a vss sensor. SD's have them in the pumpkin of the rear axle, obs do too i believe but its been awhile I would have to check.

Plan on an efuel conversion using SD fuel pump, at this point much easier than doing it later.

Whole time reading this i put a list together in my head of what i would do as soon as i seen you say 7.3.

Deffiantly do hydro boost setup from SD especially if your gonna run disks in rear.

So we needed to load up everything for transport for Thursday(today), as we are on our way to the fabricator. But challenge, how do you get 1500 pounds of drivetrains onto a 12 foot trailer? As willard put it "backyard ingenuity".

One rental trailer, one engine hoist, a car tire dollie, two straps, one car jack, two jack stands, and a come along. No hillbillies were injured in the loading of this monstrosity.

I was kind of mad, the kid said it was ready to go.... under a pile of 14 bolts that we had to move by hand.

His dad chewed him out when I showed up... It made it a little better. Nonetheless, a full hub to hub DRW d60 is no laughing matter. It had a set of leaves on it to begin with too that we cut off to shed a little weight.

I had a fork lift to get it out. Thank God. Glad to see this is still moving along nicely.

That would have sucked to come up on. I would have asked his dad to whoop his ass too. Lol.
Yea, Eleanor is on track. The mock set up and custom mounts will take a bit of time (a month or so). Then its onward to axles, drivetrain rebuild, and frame boxing.

Thanks to Rich and his trusty forklift, short work made of the heavy lifting.

Now its just a waiting game before the next process. Time to find some mud and play with original war machine.

Right now I have all the stock stuff from the donor, a 1996. Once rich is done with fan on the fit, want to sort out wiring so to get it running stock. Once that is all figured, then its time to figure out upgrades.

I understand just getting it running and you could deffiantly do this later. One of the popular upgrades for obs trucks is to change to a sd pcm like a pmt3. All it takes is a little bit of repinning. They offer alot better fuel managment stratagy and tunability. One of the awesome thing s about the PHP hydra chip I mentioned is, once you have one you program it yourself for whatever pcm your using by hooking up a laptop to it and connecting to PHP's server. You get free access to all of the "stock" programs they have for your pcm code.
