Default *FOUND/SOLD* Trade my F350 11-leaf (12 w/overload) springs for lighter-duty springs

I have a set of 11-leaf plus overload spring (12 total) from a low-mileage '99 F350 Superduty Cab & Chassis frame that I'd like to trade for your lighter-duty (6-leaf) springs. These should be a direct fit for '99-up F250, F350 & F450 (possibly more), from my understanding.

Who needs to add some beef to the back of your F-series truck?

Located in Cedar Springs (49319), but pick-up right in Grand Rapids near US-131/I-196/I-96 is also an option.

Thanks,
Craig

I wonder how stiff my f250 would ride with those, or how much it would end up lifting it.

That, I do not know, as I have never had any vehicle bigger/heavier than my Jeep LJ. However, I do know they'll be way too stiff for my relatively light project (Jeep F170 cab/flatbed mounted on an F350 Cab & Chassis frame. :)

Default Trade my F350 Superduty 11-leaf (12 w/overload) springs for your lighter-duty...

Regarding the height, I can grab a measurement for you this weekend, if it's something that would help.

If you could measure how thick the pack is at the u bolts and from spring eye to eye. That would be great.

6 1/8" tall without overload spacer/spring, and 7 5/8" tall with overload spacer/spring (both measurements include the bottom 2 1/4" shim block, which I assume your has, as well).

Main eye-to-main eye is 54 1/4".

I'm 95% certain I'm buying a used set of springs from another member here. Once they're in-hand (or potentially before), I'll sell my HD springs outright, and am open to offers.

Thanks,
Craig

I "Think" these are the springs that were on my F350, 4 door long bed. 305 or 315's can't remember. I think 305's. It rode fine with the long wheelbase. was about 2" taller than hancho's F250. My truck also had add a leaves up front to level it off. If those springs were NOT an option on my truck, then I had some aftermarket leaves added and or aftermarket springs, but i recall 10-12 leaves when I counted one time, and the factory block.

Shoot me your price. I don't wanna tear mine apart and give you mine then find out these won't work and be forced to buy new springs in the end.

Just to give you a heads up. Their was some slight difference between my old springs and these springs. I had to modify my ubolt plate for these to work.

My springs had the leaf pack/overloadspacer/overload spring all held together with the spring pack bolt. This meant the top of the overload had the nut. The pack I got from you they were all seperated leaving a peg sticking up through the over load. My bolt plate didn't fit. The hole on the plate was way to large and sat up higher off the spring. I had to weld a spacer into the plate to make up the difference.

If you get springs like my 03 had and you plan to reuse your old ubolt plate, you will most likely have to drill out the plate in the center to open it up. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

My truck seems to sit level now and rides like a lumber wagon , thanks again 1x1speed .
