Default C5 Trans ******found****

Looking for a rebuildable C5 trans, can be 2wd

The way to pick a c5 from the outside is the fine threaded front band adjuster, the large 1/4" thread on the cooler fittings and the E2 casting code.

Is there any reason you want to run a c5 over a c4?

I like the c5 cases better......they have better (bigger) cooling circuit and a few other upgrades over the the C4 case......but I will run a C4 if I don't find one easy and soon.

I have one. Its from an '84 Bronco II. I sold off the 2.8l bell housing and the 4x4 tail and output shaft. I kept it to build a C4/C5 combo. I have the C5 and a C4 in parts(both 2wd). PM if your interested.
