Default Rock Climbing

Any of you knuckle heads rock climb?

I climbed a little on and off during college. Have been to Planet Rock a handful of times. Have gone a few times in the last 2 weeks and had a blast. Took the kids yesterday and they proved to be little monkeys. Good times.

Another hobby that is going to require I buy expensive equipment, at least for rock climbing you really don't need much.

i'm pretty sure everyone here has climbed at least one rock with their vehicles.

I know I have.

I am actually in a rock climbing class at WMU right now. I have a lot of fun and once the class is done I will be able to climb at Climb Kalamazoo without taking their safety course. Definitely looking forward to that.

I used to back in Kalamazoo, it was a lot of fun and a good workout. I liked bouldering where you don't need to rope in, solving the "puzzles" is fun. I keep hoping someone will open one in TC, I would be a member for sure.

Been wanting to try it for a long time. But, I keep saying I need to drop this 20-30lbs first.

meh, start climbing and you'll get a start on that 20-30lbs

We're gonna go again this friday, I think we found a perfectly acceptable between mountain biking and snowboarding season hobby to keep me from buying another jeep.

Owning a jeep once was enough to keep me from buying another.

All I could think about from this post was this:

Sorry for your loss of hand function

I've done it a few times and enjoyed it, but I was younger, stronger, and skinnier then. Put a cooler full of cold beer every 5 feet and I might give it a shot again.

Filling out my new healthcare plans and one question was do I rock climb? I thought, really?
I suppose my rates would have went way up if I had said yes.

Rock climbing could be more fun if you mix in paint ball with it.

Arm the people on the ground and let 'er rip.

I was thinking more about blasting the idiot on the wall and see if you can make him let go.

D'oh. I fail at reading. For some reason I thought you posted 'aim at the people on the ground'
