No you're wrong they asked for my phone number at a different store and when I gave it to them they showed me the computer screen and it said phone was submerged don't fix or send in for warranty.

If the tabs aren't triggered they have absolutely no way of knowing that the phone went into the water. You could very easily just say that some dickhead employee did that because he was too lazy to do his job and actually look at the phone.

You ever see African American women in a store (any store) causing a scene at the customer service counter? Usually they are arguing something so irrational and stupid that you cannot believe they would even try getting credit, money, whatever. I would say 9 times out of 10 they get their way because they are persistent and will not take no for an answer. This is what you need to do.
