Default The irony of Obamacare

So a lot of the people that were in favor of Obamacare argued that it wasn't fair that people with insurance were paying high premium prices to cover the cost of the health care/emergency treatment of the uninsured. So what do we get with Obamacare? A law that has people doing the exact same thing! People on Obamacare paying EVEN HIGHER premium costs to cover the care of the uninsured through Obamacare. The system is specifically designed to have healthy people paying into it to fund care for the uninsured. But apparently since it's the government doing it instead of private insurers, it's OK now.

Just an observation.

The irony is in the supporters realizing this instead of denying it like before.

The best part is the people *note* not everyone; just people I know** who voted for that fool; and supported obamacare now are worse off. They're now required to have ins., and their hours have been cut at work so their employers can skirt the mandate. Lol lol sonic jay to you ignorant fuckers!!

The best part is I went from paying high as fukc rates, but with the income to be able to withstand it, to losing my job and and paying $0 for health insurance, because I don't have any and cannot afford it. This really is 100% due to the current administration.

There's a couple of things you're not understanding. First, I knew full well that I would still end up helping people with less pay for their health care. The difference is that if that help comes in the form of insurance where they can maintain their health, rather than having to wait until it gets so bad that they have to go to the ER, maybe it will be more effective and cost less. Second, if the plan is successful, there will be fewer uninsured. I think it is too early to tell if that works out. Third, every insurance scheme works by having people insured that don't use it helping pay for those that do need it. It's just how it works.

I don't think anyone was pointing at you. The people that are getting a rude awakening are the 'Obama gonna pay mah car payment' folks.

CONGRESS, in it's infinite wisdom, passes obamacare.

the president comes out the other day and sez "i make it so.....if you like your plan, you can keep your plan and the insurance companies will make it happen."

congressional approval? NOT

"government" by fiat!

To be clear here, the president does not have the authority to amend a law without congressional approval. In this case, Obamacare IS LAW and the way it is written not all people can keep their insurance. The President has no authority to modify the law and say they can keep their insurance.

Might want to drop him a note, reminding him of his limited power. Hes already violated it.
