Our employer (self-insured, managed by Anthem) was very proactive. Over the last few years, the employee portion for the family plan went from about $150/month to about $330. I'm not complaining yet though, it still is really good coverage.

0, nada, zip, zilch. My company is covering the cost increase.

I'd venture to guess that they are betting that ACA will get repealed in some fashion or another.

Is Your Paycheck Suffering From Obamacare Symptoms?
By Eric McWhinnie | Wall St. Cheat Sheet January 9, 2014
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/payche...171005689.html

"Despite what its name may imply, the Affordable Care Act is not leading to lower costs for many Americans. In fact, nearly half of Americans in the workforce say more money is being drawn from their paychecks each month for health insurance than a year ago.

The shift in healthcare costs from employers to workers is hitting paychecks. According to a new survey from Bankrate.com, 47 percent of those with employer-sponsored plans say their monthly premiums have increased, and 44 percent report their deductibles, copays, and other out-of-pocket expenses have also risen. Making matters worse, 19 percent have seen their choice of doctors decrease, and 7 percent have lost coverage for their spouse or children".

I buy my own insurance and my plan did not qualify. My new plan has better coverage and is $40 a month less.

I have been back to work for a year and a half now. my pay is not great but I had outstanding healthcare at no cost to me. in a week they are going to start taking $30 a week out for our healthcare. so from ZERO to $1560 per year.

I am happy to have a job, but at my current income level this hurts.

I don't know if this is obamacare related or what.

I like having good insurance and I used it fully, I maxed out my deductible in June.

Mine went from 720 a month (just health for 4 people) to 1300 a month. I work at a ford dealer in youngstown, ohio. That is what is offered through our company. I need to find something on my own I think. Thats just too much a month for us to pay.
