Oh really? That's neat. I've never been to The Woodshop, but I know they have awesome ribs and mac and cheese. Would be cool if it were the same owners, then I would expect good food!
I've been there a couple of times. It's not worth the wait that it often has but the food is good. Be prepared for it to be LOUD!! if it is busy though... annoyingly so.
I've never been to the Woodshop in Clarkston to compare it but our office holiday party will be there this year so I'm looking forward to that.
Tim - It's down in Royal Oak on Woodward just north of 13 mile. Pretty much across from Duggan's Irish Pub. One of these days we should meet my brother down there.
I thought the food was pretty good at Union and Woodshop but I hate long waits and I am a huuuge fan of our little bar in Holly, Blackthorn pub. I would rather go there then these other fancy (expensive) places. Great service and the food is good and they have some good specials usually.
Favorite part is the have $1.75 pbrs in 16oz cans!!!!!! I can buy 5 rounds of beers for my friends and I am the hero of the night and NOT broke haha.
There is also a Redcoat on Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield. Good burgers.
