Default Realtor near gladwin?

Anyone know a good realtor in that area? The wife and I want to buy a little cabin in that area but we have been looking for 8 months or more now and find it very hard to manage alone from metro Detroit. We think having someone in the area to help would be nice. Thanks

Kehoe reality. That is who we bought our house from. Very nice people. Don't remember who we went through when we got the 20 acres tho.

There is a place on there I'm very interested in but I've called and emailed the listing agent with no replay or call back at all. I watch the site all the time for new listing.

I would highly recommend Diane Conley.

Not as close to the lake as we would like but the price is good. The other 3 we drove up to look at were right in the area where estey rd crosses wixom lake. The wife really liked the south east side of that area.

Edenville is a nice little town. My parents looked at a house last year that was right on Wixom Lake. Nice area

We like it up there, we've camped up there a couple times once we took the boat up and loved the lake spent all day on it. I'd like to be near the state land for riding quads and snowmobiles that would also be nice.

Hmm, you're looking in Albright Shores? I'd keep looking...elsewhere.

You live on the area where would you recommend? We did notice the north side of estey rd right there at wixom lake is a little beat up but the south side seemed fine. we spent a weekend there and a couple 4 day trips a little farther south on the west side of the lake at a camp ground. It's not like I have a lot of time spent there but we do love the area. Maybe one day we will retire there.

There is a higher crime rate in Albright Shores (not good for a cabin that you're not around much), plus, yes, there are a lot of people around there who keep many of their worldly possession strewn about their yard and their cars up on blocks. (Hey, keeps the taxes low I suppose) When my wife and I were looking for homes, I would find the occasional house around that area (before I had visited Albright Shores). She took me on a bit of a tour of the area. I stopped considering places down there.

I'd imagine you'd be better off closer to Edenville, but in the end it's about what fits your needs. If it was me, I'd be looking closer at more Northern Gladwin Co. or Roscommon Co. /Houghton Lake area. Since, you're coming from SE Michigan, I'm sure you'd like it closer.

Good luck.

(No offense to "Unleashed", I see you live in Albright Shores, but I have a feeling you know what I'm talking about)

Thanks for the help everyone. I spoke with one of the recommended realtors tonight and I think he will be able to help me find what I'm looking for. Unleashed if it works out you might have to come over for some beers and a boat ride.
