Yes, input BTU's and output BTU's have a static correlation.

The input BTU's are easily obtainable by clicking his link and reading the owners manual.

My grill is 45,000 BTU's (60,000 with the side burner) and I have never had a tank freeze up.

I can even run a 7kw generator off a propane tank for 7-8 minutes before they freeze up, and they consume around 144,000 BTUs loaded up.

On how long it will last, A 20# tank holds 4.7 gallons of propane. A gallon of propane has 90,000 btu's of energy. 4.7 gallons x 90,000 BTUE = 423,000 BTU's of energy per tank.

423,000 Potential / 35,000 BTU of consumption will net you aprox 12 hours, 6 minutes of usage per full tank.
