2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 4x4 $4000
For sale 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. ~148000 miles.
Purchased a "new" project/daily driver. So now my Grand has got to go. It has been a great vehicle. I have done a few repairs along the way and have always been amazed that parts are so easy to get. Most are in stock at all parts stores.
4.0L Runs good.
Select Trac 4x4. (2x Full time 4x, Part time 4x, Neutral and 4 Low.)
2" Budget Boost
265x70R16 Treadwright Mud terrains (50%). With extra set also 50%.
"Jeep" rubber floor mats.
Radiator (Electric) fan replaced last summer.
Over the last couple years, I have replaced the front wheel bearings, brakes axles which include (CVjoints).
Airbag light is on. Rotating assembly behind steering wheel breaks contact when steering wheel is turned. This causes the Airbag system to fault out (ding) then it will reset. I got annoyed at the ding ding, so I unplugged the steering wheel airbag. the switch assembly cost ~$70 but I couldn't get the wheel off.
1 spot of rust on rear tailgate. (Picture)
Another on the rear passenger door pinch weld. (Picture)
Some scratches, most should buff out, Picture is of the deepest one.
Gas mileage. 12~15. I think its the tires, but I like the look so much I have been putting up with it.
Front axle pinion seal seeps a little. I top it off every oil change an it uses less than a cup of gear oil in 3000 miles.
Let me know what you think.
I am located in the Village of Parma. 10 miles West of Jackson.

Our '04 averages the same MPG's with stock suspension and 245 street tires. The digital MPG readout is consistently ~13.5, except for when we took a trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and I reset the readout and averaged about 20.
