Default lincense plates for tow dolly

New to the forum-looks interesting. bought used tow dolly to tow wifes car to florida, do I need a michigan plate for this, didn't have a plate on it or a mount for one, previous owner said bhe never licensed it from texas to mi years sgo. thenk you in advance for any help.

I have tow barred unplated vehicles, so I doubt you need a plate on the towed vehicle.

You can even drive an unplated vehicle if you have a signed title and are going straight home.
