Gotta figure out how to mount it and make it removable too. Shouldn't be too hard. Putting regular safety glass in it. Add a wiper and i'm all set.

Why real glass? I'm assuming you're going to take it off every time you wheel right? If not it would get expensive replacing glass every time the frame flexes and it cracks or if you hit something.

I didn't bust the front window every time I took a Jeep out in the past 2 decades. That window frame isn't going to flex all that much...and even if it did, the window is mounted in rubber.

Real glass because I can then have a wiper and clean the mud off the front window without it being all scratched to hell like lexan does.

I figured you'd wheel the buggy a little differently than an xj, maybe not. I wouldn't use lexan either, too much like plexi glass.

I busted lots of side windows....just not many fronts. Even if I roll it I don't think it would break.

But the front window is only 50 bucks.

I used a couple different front "plastic" type windows and unless they are glass, they scratch and then suck and then I would have to replace them after every couple runs anyway.

If you wanted a windshield, doors, and heat you should have found another YJ instead

ahahha I know it. Did that once. Wife will not do it....no matter what. She'll just bitch all day her eyes are watering.

I took that damn thing for a ride the other night with no window and thought I was going to die it was so cold. I'm a wimp. There is a reason that most guys with with back halfed, buggyized rigs still keep their windshield.

Im still rocking the tube fenders from that first build. Theyve survived many trees and a ford escape. However, I found out what hapens when the fenders are no longer the weak point....

Fo sho, jeep hasnt moved under its own power in 2 years though. But the years of wheeling I did with them, I definitely put em to use, and my cowl shows it. Are you also responsible for drilling the mounting holes? I wouldnt brag about those lmao
