Help how to remove d30 carrier

I'm currently trying to instal a spartan in my tj front d30. I've used a pry bar while tapping on the carrier and it isn't budging. Any suggestions?

If you can't pry it out
I would think a case spreader would be the next option

You have the shafts and everything out of it right?
What I do most the time is take a three foot pry bar And a block of wood and pry on a ring bolt so your pry bar is parallel to the axle tube

^^^this

and if its still not budging, have a buddy hit the carrier and ring gear area with a dead blow hammer (while still applying pressure with the bar). Hit it from different angles until you find the sweet spot, and the carrier will pop out

And/or get a housing spreader like mentioned above.

Did a quick search on the googles and seen a rag trick. You shove the rag between the ring and pinion so it sucks up the rag. That along with a pry bar did the trick.
