Back to happy fun posts. I had a great time. Thanks to all those who work so hard.

I concede. Renegadeii puts on a better run and is a better leader than me. That's why next year I am referring everyone to his run. He and danimal are more than capable of leading 20-25 rigs..... No problem.

This event is the best run event I've participated in and all (well apparently only 99%) absolutely enjoy it. That's why it now fills up on the very first day of registration.

Thanks to SoFo for putting on another great event this year. :rock;

My trip home was a little slow. South of Bridgeport I-75 became a skating rink. I witnessed 5 different spin outs that ranged from soiled seats to a Suburban smacking the center wall hard enough he bounced back into the center lane. I took my time & had no issues.

Thanks to James of CTOR for the beer.
Thanks to all those that stuck around this morning to meet with Jon.

I did 50-55 all the way home. I had a 4 runner doing 70+ try to cut me off to go around someone else and proceeded to spin 3+ times right in front of me. He missed me by only a couple feet. Luckily it was a small open pocket and I was able to use all 3 lanes to avoid him. With 6,000lbs behind me that was scary.

I need to get in better shape to pull all that cable lol. On a serious note had a great time, met some great people, and damaged a lot of body panels thanks to danimal and renegade lol. Huge thanks to all the sponsors along with the sofo people for making it happen. I will be back next year.

Had a great time once again. Thanks Beefy for jumping my very angry, frigid Duramax this morning.

I had a great time. It was two great days for playing in the woods. Airing down Friday was a bit of a challenge because the wind was blowing so hard.I had to replace 3 valve stem caps due to the wind.

Friday's run was with Danimal ("Things may get a little tight ahead") Somehow, I never bent sheelmetal or broke glass. We'll see how the paint looks after a trip to the car wash. I got a feeling it wont buff out. Still, we had a great day on the trail, gave our winches a great workout, got back hours late, and laughed all the way. Good times.

Saturday was with Paul Hittie out front. I think we need to start calling him 'Skipper' due to the bad luck on this 'three hour tour'. Paul and his new Jeep performed admirably considering the snow depth. The morning was nice and sunny with the wind swirling the frersh snow. The afternoon was near blizzard. It was a good, albeit short, ride in the woods.

How was your drive Steve? I'm thinking that my runs next year are going to get back to more trail riding with a mixture of rigs. I had a blast with Tom & his open dif XJ. I'm so used to just driving where I want that having a more challenged vehicle along changed the dynamics in a good way. I may not go near the MSA next year.

Tom had an excellent time. He was pretty worried about holding people up.

He was a champ. It's not about the rig, it's about the attitude. Some people say "I'm not worried about scratches" but prove otherwise. Tom was just the opposite. And he had plenty of supplies in the back of that XJ including my much needed starting fluid.

He would be more than welcome on my run next year.
