You should contact Roger... If people are going to do a fire at the rocks, I'll probably head that way with my group on the way back. I know Shawn will ht the rocks Saturday and so will Mike and Jim probably. There might be a couple of more groups willing to head that direction.

Our runs will be going through / by there and lunch there again. I'd kick in for supplies.

Yeah we might swing by the rocks. I'm pretty sure I'll be in the motorsport area near the end of my run on Saturday, depending if my group can keep up

I'm still planning on attending, but if someone wants my vehicle spot on the trail ride, I have ZERO possibility of having a rig with me.

On a more serious note about the drinking.... two years in a row we were the last to bed, and have been in the first top five waiting in line to sign up for a trail ride.
Good. Your the reason I took my lid off last year. Lmao.

Never thought the Willys was taller then an Explorer lol.

I PMed Ridin Dirty but I haven't heard back yet. So as long as I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, I would like to host/co-host a fire at the Rocks.

I'll bring the wood, I'll bring as much as I can fit in a SB f-150.

As far as beverages.... I'm not sure what I could offer, as I have no way to keep coffee, coco, tea, cider, etc hot. If someone had one of those Teepee things to go over the fire, and a large pot, that might work with a few gallons of cider.

I can bring a grill for anyone that might want to grill their lunch or a snack at the rocks.

The only problem I see so far is.... I have no idea where the rocks actually are <-seriously .

Rocks location, its pretty easy to get to, I perfer Airport road east out of st.helen to meridian, then follow the balck and white signs. They are between the fire trail, air port road, carter trail, there is a trail head off air port so you know your getting close

here is the exact location, map it and you will see them

You can get with WR & Tab as far as how much cider / wood they went through when they did it. An old boiler or kettle setting on coals will keep cider warm and people can just ladle out a cupful.

As far as getting there, we can always hook a strap from Danimal to your truck. No promise of him getting you there upright

I was confused on the zero help too. I thought I posted help.

Didint post a picture cause if you zoom close enough to see the rock area you dont see any good land marks. I even gave some directions as to how I like to get there, well what I see as the best way for a standard 4x4 truck to make it in snow.

So I just realized, since I don't need to sign up for a trail ride, this may allow me to sleep in a little bit on Sat morning

I doubt it. By the time you get out there and get back in and a decent fire going, we will be there.
