They will be put in Yukon shafts... Truck never sees the street anymore... Always trailered everywhere... Most street it will see is my driving it down the driveway to load it up on the trailer...

Yukon shafts don't deserve CTM Joints IMO, I'm running non greasable Spicers and they've been beat on for three years, broke three stock inners and now still running on chromo Yukons

Yukon Super Joints FTW.
I agree that the Spicer's hold up well. I ran them for 5 years before they started to get a little sloppy.

^This is what I would buy.
I have Superior 35 spline chromo's with Longfield joints and haven't had an issue.

You're all retarded! Long fields are by far the best joints in the universe. Mostly because I have them. I think u joint technology is at a point where there is really no reason they should be failing. You can't go wrong with yukons, long fields, ctms, rcv's, or even the good spicers.

Either that or because superior's quality went to shit and you can't get anything warrantied anymore and the Yukon superjoints are Jantz designed and patented

I have always run non greasable spicers and have broke shafts but never the trunnions. If the precisions you mention are the ones Napa carry, they are junk. Broke so many of those. Just be sure to run the full circle clips on the joint to keep the caps on.

Yeah but they aren't following the Jantz design anymore. His patent was for the spring plungers in each trunion & they discontinued doing that because people struggled assemebling them. Personally I think they are a great design and his R&D process was priceless. (have you ever read it?)

Those ones that Napa carry are sold by Precision but low quality made in China garbage... I was going to run Precision Super Strength... That's what I have in the 44 before I ripped all the ears off the drive side axle... And also because I can warranty them non-stop through my store without any problems...

I'm open to suggestions and appreciate all the info... Last thing I want is to be beating down on the truck and next thing I know I have a U-joint fail out in the middle of nowhere...
