carr rota bar

i just got this lightbar and im going to buy some lights for it. now i want the KC daylighters because they look cool and are cheap. but a guy i talked to said that lights made of metal will make the bar sag because of the weight. is this true or will it be ok to use daylighters? any other suggestions for lights that are in the same price range are welcome.

Those daylighters aren't very heavy as compared to some metal lights... make sure you get the proper beam pattern, because they make 3 different ones... I would stay away from the pencil spotlights, as they only light up very far away..

I have a carr rotobar on my YJ and I have KC daylighters on it. No sag.

Buy what you want, you shouldn't have any issues.

I had great results with the Mean Green.
rated at 200A

I powered stock lights, fogs,CB, 2daylighters, and 1500 watts of stereo with it, no dimming lights

If your only going to be running those lights. You probably won't need to worry about it. If you have a winch, those lights and a bumping stereo, then you might need to worry about it. I have no problems with my alternator with these lights on....and I have 6

That bar shouldn't sag with KC Daylighters, unless they were made from cast iron.

If anyone is interested, I have one of these bars for sale...

My old YJ had the pencils. They'll light up everything if you aim them right but they are definitly more designed for long range.
