I had probably the least streetable rig the last two years. Full hydro, 42's, no fenders, doors, or most windows, a cracked windshield, and lifted a mile; but working lights, plates, and insurance. The cops I saw just smiled and waved.

That said, I'm really looking forward to this again this year, especially since I will now have doors and will be much more street friendly.

how "hardcore" is this? Might have to take Herman and sign up with the wifey. Is this supposed to be a fest too about womenz?

edit: read on the 2013 thread. We'll have to check dates.

It's hardcore as fukc . I had to step up to 31's because my 29's weren't cutting it. And a womenz has a pretty big part in the planning of this, so it's full of .

I remember reading that a parking brake was required. I meet all the requirements except that. Would that cause me to not partake?

good thing the xj is on 31.6's

It'll give me time to do the unibody stiffeners, rocker sliders, and rear tire carry bumper... and mount the CB that has been sitting in my toolbox for a year waiting to go on the heep

wheel chock, run the brake line into the cab, or just put a ball valve on the rear brakes. cutting brake mod with a a lock.

or you can do what jeremy clarkson did on one of the african trips (Tie a log to a rope and wrap it up and put it on the hitch. when you need parking brake, unroll the log and then back up to it, using it as a chock). Then It'll follow you around wherever you go

Parking brake is a recommendation not a requirement.

Quality tow points front and rear are requirements along with streetable and in good working order. Everything else is a recommendation. No one wants to wait for a trail plug because it shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Hard core? All runs are the same..... snow or no snow.

I'd heard there was a guy that lived close that may have room on a long trailer...
