Atv parts dealers

So I picked up a Yamaha yfm200 moto 4 last night (free to me), the stipulation being as long as I don't sell it.

I know of babbitt's on seaway, but are there any other parts dealers in the Muskegon area that might be a better bet (price and service) than them?

Not sure what the extent of the problems are with this motor right now, but we'll find out soon enough.

ebay and USPS.
That will be your best price. Babbits is very pricey.

Metric motorsports is owned by 2 brothers who ran a yamaha dealership out of the same location for years. They sold it to Babbitts about 4 yrs ago. From what I have heard they were very good yamaha mechanics. So you still might talk to them.

thanks guys. I'm hopefully tearing into it tonight and start compiling a parts list.

First things first is to get some paracord on the pull start and see if it is siezed and check compression.

I've heard good things about magic racing up in Shelby. Might be more aftermarket stuff tho. I bought a helmet and some gloves there and it all came in at $100. Being from Canada this is cheaper then places on my side of the river.

Once I get it running I'll need a 2-3x helmet.

Tried the Chinese xxl I found on Craigslist. No go. My head fit in, but it felt like I was shoving my head in an Asian's vagina.

We have a couple of the best service techs in the state. Call and ask for Aaron who is the service manager. I know that right now we are backed up about a week and a half out due to everyone deciding it was the end of watercraft season and bringing them all in at the same time for winterization.

Once I get a list of parts, I'll be looking pricing all the parts out. I'll also be driving through that way the next two weekends

X3 on Powers. When I got my 400ex, 1st trip I made was up there to have them go through it. Got my helmet and service work done and a great price! M120 at the Fremont corner, across from the Harley Shop.
