I quit every time I crush one out. I start back up later lighting another one up.

17 months for me without a cigarette, using the e-version the entire time.

I've experienced a slew of side effects.

1. I can breathe clearly.
2. My sense of smell has returned.
3. I've started running again, because I can move without hacking

There's a ton of info out there, I've spent hours weeding through quite a bit of it. A few things to note....

1. "Research" by non-profits with mostly vague and negative content are funded by two groups....Big Tobacco and the Pharmaceutical industry. Some of the reports are slick, some border on satire.

2. The FDA's report on is it also incredibly vague with no real statistics, numbers, comparisons or even objectivity. Their report is incredibly believable until you find comparisons (on your own) to other products that they fully approve. I don't see the FDA as being objective anyway, not with Big Tobacco and the Pharmaceuticals being in so many pockets.

3. Big tobacco wants this regulated really bad, for obvious reasons. They'll conform their e-cig products to whatever regulations are put out. They already know their products taste like shit and are low quality at a high price point. They know that if you don't like their e-product that you'll move right back over to their cigarettes. It's a winning deal for them.

I've talked with my own doctor about it, several others and a couple of PA's that are hardcore against tobacco products. Not one of them has stated that I'm crossing into any sort of dangerous territory and none of them have told me to quit doing it.

Nicotine in itself isn't the harmful component in cigarettes, it's the bullshit they put in them and the fact that you are breathing in burning plant matter. I'll keep puffing away until I see real, objective information showing that I'm doing something wrong. It seems those against it keep bringing up the issue of it being so dangerous without any sort of proof to back it up.

Coming up on 3 weeks with no "real" cigarettes. I already feel better. I have lowered my nicotine level in my order I placed yesterday.

I'm highly skeptical, but it certainly appears you've done much more research than I have. Which is good, they're your lungs, not mine. I wouldn't trust it myself, but then again I haven't done any research.

Just because the FDA allows similarly packed with chemical options also doesn't mean I would trust it, as the FDA (as you stated) isn't all that trustworthy.

Obviously the 3 main side effects you have listed are good. I just hope that in the long term we don't find out that something in these e-cigs is more dangerous or as dangerous in terms of causing the cancer as normal cigs, for your sake.

I have recently lost all control of my bowels and need to wear an adult diaper. The Dr. hope that it is temporary but is certain it is from using the E-Cig and has recommended that I go back to Marlboro's immediately.

It's a REO grand, a mechanical mod doesn't have any curcitry.

I've been making my own for three weeks. Its actually really easy, and I actually really like the taste. I made vanilla tobacco flavor, and I am impressed.
