What's wrong with the logo? Looks just like the one on their website.

Besides the fact joyetech doesn't offer a 1100, the trade marked logos are wrong. The ego name means nothing, everybody uses it now lol. I know a few people who have those batteries and they haven't had any problems. After about a month, they buy a better tank like pro tank, davivde and so on. Im thinking of getting an aspire nautilus tank. Tried one for a few hours, holy shit its awesome on my 134

got most of my wick making supply in yesterday.

thinking i'm also going to start making my own juice too.

lots of options on this site: http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route=common/home

there are lots of how to vids on DIY juice making out there. it looks easy and way cheaper than buying premix.

here's one video that shows how easy it is and is somewhat funny.

My wife has decided she will be vaping as well now. So I had to buy a new setup for myself :)

So far I really like this :

have a shopping list together and just need to order supplies to make juice.
just passed my four month cig free mark and am diggin this vape thing. still learning but feel good about never going back to normal cigs.

Well, share with the class cocksmoker.. What did you learn? What gauge are you using, how many wraps ect?

32 AWG wire, 6 wraps. i think it got me 1.8ohm. the ohm checker i got is a piece of shit so i wasted $18 and need to get another one.
i learned that .045 welding wire is too big to use to hold the wick when wrapping the coil wire. thinking i'm going to need to use a smaller hardened needle and my dremel D-vice next time to get a better and more consistent wrap on the coil.
i'm happy with the way it vapes for my first. but, it is a kinda sloppy coil due to the .045 wire i used to hold the wick so there is room for improvement.
but, it worked so i also learned i wrapped and wired it properly and did not fry my battery.
i also learned silica wick makes dust when you cut it.

Help me remember, to get higher ohms, with less wraps, you get thicker gauge... right? So, in your opinion, would maybe a .32. or .30 gauge wire be better?

less wraps, less resistance. so, i would assume thicker wire, less resistance, less wraps. but i haven't researched that in this application. i do know that the coil wire i took off my old one looked like it was the same size i used. i did not mic it.

personally, i'm thinking i'd rather stay with the smaller wire and cover more area of the wick.

Your may have posted it, and I missed it. What kind of wire are you using (kenthal or nickle) and where did you get it?

CD... Did you wear rubber gloves when you made your wick? I ask, because the link that you posted where you got the wire from, says

Hands-off feeding eliminates skin salts & oils.
This makes me wonder if there is any advantage or longieviety issues if you wear rubber gloves.
