Would this be a good starter kit? I was going to get the 1100 mAh battery and some extra coils?

Yeah, it looks good to me. I think just my 1 battery was 29.00... Granted my battery is much more than those batteries.

I went with ego-t batteries to start as the person I know who vapes uses these and is having good luck. The clear-o-mizers I ordered are 2.4-2.9 ohms. I think I'm light of volts with this set up. I didn't like the twist because as far as I can tell you don't know how many volts its putting out without an inline meter. The big batteries with a digital display are to expensive until I know if this will work for me to quit smoking. Also they seem huge and I want it to fit in my pockets which already have too much shit in them, although they won't have a pack of cigs or lighter soon so maybe they would work.

How do you know how to set the twist correctly to match the ohm of your clear-o-mizers. I ordered vision ego ones.

Dont know the "science" behind it, just know it works. lol
In this case Higher resistance=less heat (kinda backwards sounding, I know)=longer lasting coil
If you get a coil that has too little resistance it gets too hot and you will get a burnt taste, your coil will also burn up quick.
I was worried the 1.8 would get too hot with thick VG juices (doesnt flow into teh coil as easy), and I have noticed that if I take too quick of a draw it does taste a little burnt. Its easy to take a quick draw with the T3S, its "airy" (which I dont really like). Hoping the 2.2 ohm takes care of that.

Voltages are marked.

That's the first I have seen that they are marked. Couldn't find that info but I'm new to all of this.

The law of ohms is add 2 and its your volts needed. So 2.9 ohms needs 4.9 volts as an example.

swapped to the 2.2 coil. More vapor and better flavor with this stuff 100% VG "Smores" liquid. 2.2 ohm/ego T seems to be the right combination for me.

With no PG I assume you weren't a smoker? My understanding is PG give you the throat hit. I ordered high PG I would have to go look again buy I know it's high.

good luck! it's still working for me.

this is my set up now. i tried many different top and bottom feed tanks and so far i like this pyrex dct bottom feed tank the best. it's $15 for the tank and $3 for replacement wicks. the last 2ohm wick lasted me a month in this. the others i've tried in the other tanks only last about a week before they need replacing.
the battery is a variable voltage (3.3v-4.8v) 1300Mah

How long before I can expect my lungs to go into purge mode? I remember this from the last time I quit and it's the worst part. That's scary shit.

If it is a light flavor, then using a higher ohm coil with the eGo may increase flavor.

If it is a strong flavor, then using a lower ohm coil with the eGo may increase flavor.

Nice. I was thinking 4.2 with a 2.2 coil, but may start at 4.0-3.7

I'm using 4.3/2.2 without any complaints.

thought I would check out a few new flavors today. I was able to sample them at the store and the waffle flavor taste like it will be excellent with my morning coffee.
