ive owned 2 of them both 05s. the only thing is i would put a aftermarket lift pump like a fass or a air dog2 on because the factory lift pumps dont last worth a crap. good set of gauges to monitor everything and away you go. currently fighting with mine right now only has 85k miles lift pump went out at 82k and now i have a issue with a sensor thats screwing everything up. other than that i love the cummins only diesels i would own.

I just bought a well used 2003. About the only thing that I saw allot of people talk about is the #4 injector line. Make sure the clamp is tight....

I went from a 1996 as well. I will greatly miss the p-pump, but like having a 4-door allot.
