Default what led lighting are you using?

which led brands are you using and why. im looking for a 12" light bar and some small lights for my dome light and a couple rock lights.

most important to me is price. not how good of a product it is.

cheapest and best is what im looking for.

I bought a roll of that for the underside of my bedrails.

Need to get some tubing for waterproofing, then install...

For rock lights I have the $27 Ricer driving lights from O'rileys. One set front, one set rear. They work great.

I don't have a fancy light bar because I don't see the usage. Unless you are always in the front of the gang, you can never turn them on anyway. The only place I have ever wished for better lighting offroad was at KOH.

I have some old fancy ricer fog lights I could mount to. but id rather go to something with a lower draw. you can get the pod lights for about $25 a piece.

notice I said 12" light bar. im not looking for double 50" bars. because I agree with you. all the parks around here you cant usually night wheel. but I would like something more than my stock headlighs. so again. instead of buying 2 6" kc daylighters with hot pink light covers. id like to get a small 12" LED bar to go in my grille.

I would think you would just have a problem getting them to stick, and then cleaning your rig and not knocking it back down?

I've used the light strips quite a bit when I build a sound system for a ricer. They work good but the light output isn't very much. I don't think they would work well as rock lights.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/light...20-lights.html

I bought a few sets of these and just mounted some up under the JK for rock lights. They seem pretty bright, but then again I do have a lot of them under there. The only thing I can say is the wires are pretty damn dinky and really short. We shall see how they hold up.

I'm gonna put some in pex tubing and make some Badass rock sliders that will be a bit flexible!

I used the LED strips from Amazon. I ran two rows along each of the rockers, under front and rear bumpers and a single row under the front fenders...

The nice thing with these being such low draw, you don't need a relay just a simple 12v powered switch.

Light strips took a couple hits, were submerged and are still working. Zip tie to the frame though, I don't think the adhesive would have stayed on.
