92 Chevy C1500 5.3 LS swap *Trade for TJ*

I've decided to sell my 1992 Chevy C1500 w/t to help fund my house projects and I don't drive it enough these days. Its been in my family since new, been passed around from my uncle who builds nice hotrods, to my grandpa, back to my uncle, back to my grandpa, and then to me. 135kish original miles, came factory with a 4.3v6 but it was starting to blow some white smoke when I got it 2 years ago, I pulled the drivetrain for a LS 5.3 swap. Truck has been lowered 4" front/6" back since 14 miles on the OD, recently went thought it and only thing it needed was new shocks. Front is a 2" lowering spring with a lowering spindle, rear is a leaf under axle flip kit with c notch. Near the end of my grandpa owning it he backed into a few things a put a few dents on the rear roll pan, and lower tailgate. Very clean rust free truck, but the only thing it needs to make it perfect is body work, a locking rear, and some bling bling wheels.

here's some stats:

-2006 Silverado LM7 5.3v8 engine with 21k on it when I dropped it in, only 1-2k on it since then. New plugs, and wires when dropped in with protective boots to keep the wires from melting on headers. Schoenfield headers with no cats, 2.5" dual pipes, dual in/dual out muffler, turn downs before axle, sounds amazing. premium fuel tune on it currently, with no other traction control or torque management BS. DBW setup on engine, cruise control wires are there, just not hooked up. Dirty dingo motor mount plates with stock v8 motor mounts. Custom aluminum cold air intake with spectra autozone filter. Stock 4x4 oil pan that should be changed if you plan lower the truck anymore.

-4L60E trans from a newer C1500, that I got from a auto recycler up here, the one I had built up for this project got water damage and was unusable, so this was a pull out that I found locally. Truck it came from rolled over with 110k on it, PO thought he had rebuilt, but no papers to prove. Had very clean fluid, but I did a filter swap and fluid change and it all looked great. No slips or anything unusal, shifts great and crisp. B&M ratchet shifter on floor. Stock cross member was moved back a few inches and redrilled on the frame.

-rear end is the stock 10 bolt with a open carrier. 3.73 gears and a 5x5 bolt pattern. No issues. Stock driveshaft.

- 96-99 chevy truck AC delco fuel pump (for higher pressure) in a new sending unit in stock 33 gallon tank, new FI hoses into a corvette regulator/fuel filter, since the engine has returnless fuel rails on it. Braded line from fuel filter to engine with proper fittings. Tank is vented like a fuel cell with a filter. Engine has all the EGR stuff turned off and never hooked up.

-Cooling system has a brand new 2006 Silverado radiator and a used set of dual electric fans off the same year truck. Engine computer controls the fans on and off. Fans work great, and have barely had to run, truck has no issues with cooling what's so ever. All new hoses.

-Professionally done harness and computer work, and professional wiring to get rid of truck side wiring that wasn't needed. Uses a stock 92 gauge panel. Currently still hooking up the coolant sender, but I read it off the computer using a scanner app on my phone right now.

-Spray in rhino liner in bed, starting to fade from the sun a tad since its red.

-Truck is the basic work truck with power steering, so there is no AC or power window/locks. does have a split back window and the ol' floor vents that bring in a lot of air. Everything on this is basic and simple, even after the motor swap.

- Has older pioneer head unit with cd player with stock speakers. Nothing fancy but works just fine.

-Stock chevy steel wheels painted black with good tires but all stock size. Rides nice. Same size tire and wheel type (grey not black) for a spare.

-Led smoked tail lights

-re skinned bench seat

-Big folder of every receipt that I had from the whole swap.

Asking $5000.00 Will update with more pictures this weekend.

*trade list of what I would be interested in, see post #15*

No, I wouldn't be. Guess I should have explained better of what I may be looking for with a trade. I only would be interested in 4x4 vehicles(No XJ or ZJ's, already own one) or anything like a ATV or similar( No snowmobiles either) that I can use in Northern Michigan to play around in the woods. Also may be interested in motorcycle but only a large CC bike, nothing from the 80's and no rockets. Also could use a good plow truck? Thanks for the offer tho.

Bump for weekend.

Really thinking a trade for a nice YJ or TJ would take this home. Needs to be drove to appreciate, Ive owned 3 different trucks/suv's with the 5.3 and this one is by far the fastest and best running.
