Default Need Alignment Shop

I'm looking for somebody that can do an alignment on something, from scratch. Making axles square with frame and parallel to each other, pinion angles and caster, and the rest of the jazz needed.

Anything around Ann Arbor, Brighton, Novi?

Is Clydes really that good? I have no experience with them, but know they specialize in work on modified 4x4's...

Sounds more like a ground up fabrication not an alignment. Do vehicle links already exist?

Maybe something one of the fab shops here would tackle.

Prices are comparable maybe a little high but they actually know what they are doing.

They serve hot dogs and burgers. Not the best but its free

I've heard good things, but they aren't cheap.

I think the bonus is that it's a shop that knows big vehicles and 4x4s.

Not the guy at Belle Tire that does 99.99% cars. I took the JK there and all they did was align the steering...even though their machine said the caster was off. I asked for them to do everything...but oh well. I think I got it close enough with my angle finder and tape measure.

Shawn why not take it up to Unlimited? Or whoever they use? If you don't want to drive it far you can use my trailer...

I've had good luck with Kovach's in the past. They didn't bat an eye when I brought my TJ in with a long arm kit. They had a wall of photos of rods, customs, dragsters, etc on the wall that they had done work on.

Go to Clydes, ask for Bob (the owner) & tell him I sent you. That should double the price with half the quality.

Seriously though, Bob will treat you right. He does a fair amount of jeep work. I've known him for years. (well enough that he came to the funeral home for my mom)

Thanks guys. Kovach's is definitely closer, but we'll give Clyde's a shot, sounds like that's the place to go to.

The only good thing I can say about Clydes is that they didn't charge me when I asked them not to touch my vehicle anymore.

Mufflers and more in Walled Lake. Kenny is the owner. He has a tube frame Panoz race car. Setting up a Jeep suspension should be no problem.
