After dumbing down the TV the picture looks great, very happy with it. I'm glad someone clued me in on that because I've been hating this TV for the last week and was going to buy another cheaper model that wasn't so clear

I did the same thing when I bought a new 55" a month ago. Everything looked corny.

Agreed. I hate my parents TV's. I say that every time I'm there.

I love my big widescreen dlp's that I have throughout the house.

I do have one 42" that is super HD. But thats our Xbox/game room TV. No movies or shows are watched on it

This has to be one of the only times I've agreed 100% with Hancho. My Sharp Aquos looks like I'm watching Masterpiece theatre on PBS. Movies look terrible. The Panasonic plasma picture looks 10x better. Gonna have to try and dumb down the Sharp and see how if it looks any better.

I want a nice flat screen TV, but I'm stuck with a 14 year old Sony 29" bulb. It's not that important.

This is what people say when they cannot afford the finer things in life. You are just festering with jealousy

Dave Ramsey

It's more liberating to have no debt than to have a big TV you have to dumb down.

It's even more liberating to have a big TV, no debt, and not to have to listen to a fool that makes his money from selling advise to other fools
