Default Post 97 Ranger 351 Swap?

Is there anything to lookout for? I am picking up a 99 ranger, and doing the 351w/c6 swap out of a bronco. I have read that the exhaust is a trick, but is there anything other than that? The ranger is 2wd, if that makes any difference.

You will need a different transmission, the c6 out of the bronco will be 4x4. There are 351w ranger specific headers available to buy. Check out www.therangerstation.com I'm sure there are a few write ups.

If space is an issue, and with most Rangers it is, you would be better off with a c4 setup. A c4 is a lot smaller and easier to work around in a tight spot.

That's the reason I am using the c6?

Sorry for the confusion. Going from 2wd to 4wd.. The 2wd frame rails are wider.
