Default TJ heavy duty steering kit

Bent my rugged ridge crossover steering tie rod pretty bad so its time for a new one what you all got?

cam,
youll have to ream your knuckles regardless if you go UTK or OTK. your better off drilling out the knuckles and adding an insert with the correct taper. the inserts and drill bit are far cheaper than a the cost of a reamer... and you wont have two opposing tapers in the same hole.

If you gotta get all new anyway, I ran a v8 grand Cherokee setup for four years with no bending. But you probably wheel harder than I do. It's quite a bit bigger and you can get it from any auto parts place for around $120 for the complete set up with the heavier duty ends.

Is that for the drag link and tie rod? That's a pretty good deal. Ran that for 4 years on your current jeep?

Yeah if I remember right both pieces was right around $60 or something. That was back when my jeep was on 33's. I run full hydro now.

Did you wheel it pretty hard then? I rock crawl a lot run all the black diamond trails doesn't mean I make it through them all without winching though haha

Yes, I wheeled it hard. pretty much the same as I do now only on 33's. It was never an issue but that's not to say you couldn't bend it if you just continued to drive it into immovable oblects.
