There are still quite a few sections where the passing lanes are spread out pretty far, but I'm with you.

If there was a median or a divider and it was a true freeway I would be all for it.

65 would be nice, i'd be good with that even.

In Wyoming it was 75mph speed limit on freeway and 65 out of town roads. Never had a problem going 80 on freeway, and 70 on others the whole time I was out there and it reminded me of the U.P. cause it was like a hour or more in between towns. But it made it nice, I wish they would do that here.

I am not an expert. But I was once in a 55 mph head on collision. It was violent as all holy fucking hell could be. My engine/transmission popped my radio out of the dashboard, my trunk would not open, etc etc etc. The car was scrapped. It was 3 payments old.

I wouldn't want to try it at 75, but I can't see the results being any better.

There are way to many cops with nothing to do but speed traps up there. Seems that way anytime I cross the bridge, still bad in northern lower, but twice as bad in the UP IMO.

I agree. They made that section of 127 65. I wonder if it increased accidents.

I don't know if I completely agree with the law, but I believe that is one of the things the speed studies in MI is supposed to protect against, just making up arbitrary speed limits along the road like that.
