FYI, use amazon webstore, and I can promise you 110% that no credit card information is EVER pushed through to the seller. Amazon handles everything, and they even handle the fraud scores, fraud ratings, and tell the seller if they suspect its fraud. The seller cannot even access the credit card type used for the sale.

Sounds like someone's got a little Big Brother paranoia. I buy a crap load of stuff from Amazon already. They already have my cc info. They have nothing to gain here.

Regardless, I'd still be surprised if these things actually show up.

Sounds more like stupid yokel to me.

Honestly the only thing I expect to get out of this is an email saying there was an error in the listing. However, if like in the past, that email should have came by now...

Regardless Amazon doesn't have to screw me out of anything. I give them a pretty steady supply of revenue as is.

You may have lucked out. That is actually a stocked item by amazon, and not a third party seller. Your chances of it arriving is pretty high. Amazon is the most standup company on the net.

I was expecting this to be fulfilled by a third party, to which they would simply click "cancel order" from their seller panel, then tick the box that states "wrong price in listing" It would have taken them 20 seconds to cancel it out.

Most items on amazon are sold by amazon, fulfilled by third partys. So if I sell staplers on amazon, they sell them for me, take a 4-16% commission, and pass the order off to me. Now amazon also carries popular staplers, and stocks them in house so they can provide fast shipping for the prime members.

I would bet that you receive this for that cost.

You were "that guy"

A couple weeks ago, staples had a mess up with pricing and I snagged a couple new Nikon D3100's for $119. The complete camera with a lens. I was going to grab one more, then I noticed a pattern, every place I called was cleared out that morning by the same guy. I'm guessing that guy bought over 100 of them.

Mine is the same status but no money has been pulled on my card. I REALLY hope this happens. I have been waiting to pull the trigger on an air compressor for a while.

I can't imagine they come. They may not catch it until the end of September when they are actually supposed to ship though.
