True. Well it seems like a decent car. The wife likes it. We will see how it does. Like I said, I'm not a ford guy.

Wasn't looking for a show car or a drag car. Just a 4 door for my better half.

the best part about the fairmont is how it started. he thought it was a junkyard 5.3 he put in it with a smoked head gasket, or bent vales can't recall exactly.

turns out if I recall correctly it was a 4.8 so they said screw it and reused one of the head gaskets and ran it with mis-matched heads for the longest time

I used to had a LS and I loved that car and kinda miss it. There are some issues with them but not too hard to find or fix. I work on cars for a living so it was easy for me and inexpensive to repair. If I ever run across a good deal on one in good shape I will be buying it.

Why not just post the wife pics here?

The car color is ugly as hell.

My dad used to have an Lincoln LSE. Nice car and it was pretty quick. By absolutely no means was it what I would consider a "hot rod lincoln" even if it had a exhaust and tint.

The "Hot Rod Lincoln" was a joke.
