Default electrical issues

99 xj, once i turn my right turn signal on and apply the brakes, the brake lense blinks with the blinker? Also, when i open a door on the passenger side the taillight lights up ( running lense and reverse bulb) and once i shut the door it obviously shuts off. Where do i begin?

Edit, It might not be that. I may or may not be drunk posting, I haven't decided yet

Thanks for the link, would a bad multifunction switch cause that? I'm thinking it might be more or less electrical issue and or wiring however, the multifunction switch doesnt click off after completing a turn....

I remember it happening to my Fiancee's XJ, I think I just hit a bunch of things like Jeremy Clarkston and it fixed itself...

I don't think I was yelling POWER while doing it though

Check your ground wires. Bad ground will do crazy shit.

do you have trailer wiring it? and check the grounds on the drivers side all the way in the back, behind the plastic ware the spare tire used to be.

Turned out to be a ground issue to the passenger taillight. Rewired in ground to chassis and bam properly working brake and turn signal
