What about using a 460 truck efi heads, intake and electronics? Might have to change TB mounting (or a big hood scoop) but otherwise not sure what else would stop you from doing it?

I'll look into it..........

UPS dropped off the rebuild kit for the stock carb today. At least I can get it running for the weekend.
Driving newer EFI's have spoiled me though, I don't feel like pumping the gas pedal anymore on these old cars. Its going to have to change.

I want to add a stipulation. If I help convert this into a dumpcentennial, You are obligated to wear one green and one red suspender whenever you are driving it.

Price motorsports makes an adapter to do a carb on this setup. Not bad $ wise either

Back at it, rebuilding the carburetor tonight. If all goes well she will be on the road for the weekend, cruising the streets, and pimpin' and such.

If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and chit chat.

Yeah,...........this didn't happen.

However, with a big Thank You to Frdboy, it is now street-able. Adam spent a few hours this morning tuning it up. I just did some test drives down our private road, and I think it is ready for a short test cruise.

I will take it off storage insurance on Monday and put it on the road insurance. I should be driving it to work on Tuesday.
