Mitsubishi has been partnered with Chrysler since the 80's

That's 2 new 1/2 ton diesels coming out, I like this trend. Even if you don't like Dodge or Nissan it'll bring some promising competition to the marketplace. The other companies would be stupid not to follow suit. I have zero interest in ever owning a Nissan pickup truck, but it'll probably rip with a V8 diesel in it!!

I used to make nissan axle tubes... All of the tabs and even the yoke were 1/3 the thickness of all the american tubes. I would never own a nissan truck because of this. If the tubes are that cheap how is the rest of rhe drivetrain?

My buddy just sold his titan. 230k on a 2011. Truck was a huge pile of shit. Needed tires, oil changes and ball joints once while he owned it. Worked it hard everyday too. His family owns a custom metal Fab company and it was his work truck.

They seem to be decent trucks. I almost bought one but couldn't get past the looks.

I wonder if they'll put the diesel in the armada or QX56?

Nummins.

I agree with the above statement. Why not increase number of motors sold/put into light to medium duty trucks, just increases the options for diesel buggies!

I have two buddies with titans and they both love them. One has 180k miles on it and has only replaced brakes/ball joints/tires

Other buddy has 160k miles on his Titan and only replaced tires/brakes/batteries.

Yeah, the last time I jumped in his truck and drove it I looked and said damn, this thing only has 23,000 miles on it, you must never drive it. It felt like a brand new truck....he laughed, no dumbass, it has 230,000 miles on it.

I was like oh, yeah and stuff.

Not in v8 Config, it'll idle more smoothly than a straight 6

they have large counter weights in the crank shafts to balance them. Not perfect primary and secondary balancing

True statement.

Opposed motors have perfect secondary balancing as well, which allows them to negate the balancing afaik
