It appears as though if you wanted to do burnouts the Loop was the place to be...

Maybe, but my driveway is more convenient for me.

There were plenty there, was my first time making it all the way to Pontiac. But there were some nice ones one the way back through Birmingham too, that was a 2 hour traffic jam as they were escorting everyone off woodward.

most of you dont live near Detroit but just a warning the dream cruse is nothing but monkeys blaring rap music with 30 inch rims and cops on every corner giving tickets for the shit you GO THERE TO SEE!

a once cool event is now a joke.

It's only a joke because there are non-classic cars driving down woodward. Police should ticket everybody in a jeep.

Last time I went there were far more classics parked than 'cruisin'.

If anything keeps me away, it's the anti-abortion people.

When you tried your burn out, did the jeep back fire as bad as this thread?

Right there across from the train station in Pontiac, there are dually burnout marks... the old F350 regular cab long box dually had a GL4x4 sticker... WHO MUST YOU BE?

I dislike those people too, but they won't keep me from going to a family event.
Anti abortionists are just as bad as those westboro nut jobs.

You're just jealous because you can't drive your snowmobile or jet ski down there.

Well, there's no holes in the ice to fall through, or convenient places to start on fire....

That is because the old ones tend to overheat and break down, I helped push a 65 Thunderbird about a 1/4 mile slightly uphill in the the traffic. We had to stop about 10 times because we were going faster than the traffic, its breaks went out and hopped the curb to avoid hitting the Fiero in front of it. It was not fun.

That's not because it's old, it's because the owner is an idiot and brings a car that is not completely road ready to a traffic jam.

He should have hit the Fiero, both his pile of shot and the Fiero would hav been better off.
